July 20, 2000 - GAMETELE SYSTEMS INC. ANNOUNCES NEW CONTRACT FOR SERVICES
MISSISSAUGA, July 20, 2000 - ZTEST Electronics Inc., ZTST-CDN ("ZTEST"), is pleased to announce that its strategic partner, Gametele Systems Inc. ("Gametele"), of Mississauga, Ontario, has entered into a contract to expand its sales network by installing up to 500 BingoTraxâ units in the Eastern Ontario region to administer the Rotary Club of Kanata Sunrise TV Bingo game. The Rotary TV Bingo game is scheduled to commence late September, 2000 and will be broadcast on Saturday evenings via channel 11, " The New RO ".
Gametele’s proprietary BingoTraxâ System, designed and manufactured by ZTEST Electronics Inc., allows generic bar-coded bingo tickets to be validated at the point of sale for any media bingo game the purchaser chooses to play, including TV bingo, newspaper bingo, radio bingo, satellite bingo and internet bingo.
"Bingo is immensely popular throughout the world and the use of generic tickets is essential in reducing the paper waste that occurs when tickets are unsold for pre-specified games", said Peter Howard, Chief Operating Officer, Gametele Systems Inc.
Sold tickets are immediately recorded in Gametele’s central data base system tracking all sales by retail location, thereby providing the games’ charitable licensee with readily available and reliable, consolidated sales information and inventory control. The BingoTraxâ unit also provides the retail vendor with a sales invoice showing the total number of tickets sold, the total dollar value and the retailer’s commission. Each BingoTraxâ unit has the ability to administer and sell multiple media games, thereby increasing the potential consumer marketplace for all media bingo events throughout the entire sales network.
Gametele currently has a network of 1,000 BingoTraxâ units throughout Ontario, administering the Rainbow TV Bingo ("Rainbow"), broadcasting two games weekly on Sunday mornings, via channel 11 "ONTV" for the benefit of the Ontario Brain Injury Association and The Ontario Society (Coalition) of Senior Citizens.
Howard added " …we are the only company in the world to offer this unique network solution for media bingo games and Gametele will continue to pursue opportunities to expand the utilization of the BingoTraxâ System worldwide through joint ventures or licensing arrangements with interested parties."
ZTEST offers Strategic Partner services in electronic design, development and manufacturing capabilities to emerging high tech companies in return for long-term manufacturing contracts, fees for services and equity positions.
The current outstanding capital of ZTEST is 20,274,831 common shares.
