NORTH YORK, October 30, 2003 - ZTEST Electronics Inc. ("ZTEST" or the "Corporation") (TSXVE - "YZT") wishes to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, Permatech Electronics Corp. ("Permatech") of North York, Ontario, an ISO 9001:2000 certified Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) provider, has received an order from an instrumentation company, valued at approximately $250,000, to be delivered over a five month period. Management of Permatech anticipates that this may lead to larger orders from the same customer in the future.
